Parking Information
Please note, there are significant changes to crafter parking this year.
Crafters in the Children’s Corner and in rows L and P will park on the back parking lot of the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.
All other crafters will park at the UMBC stadium parking lot and use the provided shuttles to come back to the festival. Two shuttles will run continuously between 6:00am-8:30am and between 5:00pm-7:30pm.
While we understand that this may not be the preferred parking plan, we have to take the following into consideration:
- An Arbutus Mural is in the process of being painted on a large wall in the center of town. The lot near that mural will be closed to allow the public to view and take photos.
- Local businesses have requested that crafters not use their private lots or driveways for parking.
- The public (customers) do not have a place to park if crafters park on the residential streets and fill up all available parking.
Please print your parking pass and display on the dash of your vehicle for access to the crafter parking lots.
After unloading your items to the sidewalk behind your crafter space, please proceed to your designated parking lot.
The two separate, yet concurrently running routes (noted in black and gold on the map below) have drop-off points at opposite ends of the festival so you can select the one that is closest to your space. The route that stops at the corner of Linden Ave and Leeds Ave is noted in gold on the map. The route that stops at the corner of Sulphur Spring Rd and Birch Ave is noted in black on the map.
Handicap accessible parking will be available in the Rosedale Federal parking lot at the corner of East Drive and Poplar Ave.
End of Day
When the festival is closed at 5:00pm, please take down your tent, pack up your items and place everything on the sidewalk behind your space. Then you may find the closest shuttle stop to return to your car.
Once you have your car, return to your space to pick up your items.
The Baltimore County Police Department has decided to keep the festival streets closed to traffic until 5:30pm, to help ensure everyone’s safety.
